Religious Education

Religious Education

Since its founding, the Saint Patrick Religious Education Program has catechized more than 100 students each year in the CCD program, grades Pre-K through 8. The Office of Religious Education also serves additional youth through assisting our CYO group and through our outreach to homeschooling families.

For our younger parishioners not in full communion with the Church, we also offer OCIC (Order of Christian Initiation for Children). This class is especially for children grades 3 through 12 who are not baptized or are baptized in another faith.

Adult catechesis/Becoming Catholic/OCIA

The Religious Education office also provides catechesis for adults as well, with weekly OCIA classes. These culminate each year at the Easter celebration, where we welcome our new initiates fully into the Church. For a fuller explanation, please visit the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops page at the USCCB OCIA Info.

In addition to CCD, OCIC, and OCIA, different Bible studies and theology classes are offered to the public. These can vary. Currently we offer a Tuesday morning book study after the 9:00 am Mass.

Classes are held for all ages each week in our parish hall and school classrooms, please see our calendar of events for dates and times.
