Dear Parishioners:
Please pray for our country’s bishops as they meet for their Fall General Assembly on November 15-18, 2021. As you may be aware, one of the topics to be discussed is a statement on the Holy Eucharist, including the issue of addressing the worthy reception of the Blessed Sacrament.
I wanted to share an excellent statement recently released by His Eminence Raymond Cardinal Burke regarding the non-admittance to Holy Communion of those who obstinately persist in manifest grave sin.
