Faith is a lifelong journey. At Saint Patrick, children, teens, and adults can deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith, prepare for the sacraments, and grow closer to Christ in community.

Whether your family is beginning religious education, you are preparing for a sacrament, or you are exploring the Catholic Church, there is a next step for you at Saint Patrick. Faith formation is a lifelong journey of growing closer to Jesus Christ, deepening our understanding of the Catholic faith, and learning to live that faith each day. Through prayer, Scripture, instruction, and parish life, we help children, teens, and adults build a lasting relationship with God.

Our parish supports parents as their children’s first teachers of faith, accompanies those preparing to receive the sacraments, and welcomes those seeking to learn more about becoming Catholic. Saint Patrick’s religious education program serves children from Kinder through 8th grade.

Children and teens who need Baptism or other sacraments can explore the parish’s Christian initiation & sacramental preparation programs. Contact the formation office for the right starting point.
Adults & Becoming Catholic

First Penance
A baptized child or person confesses their sins to a priest for the very first time.

At Saint Patrick Catholic School, faith and learning grow together. Located in Fredericksburg, the school serves students from kindergarten through eighth grade, combining strong academics with Catholic values and a caring community.
